5th September 2016 was the day fixed for students of the Lovely school of Architecture and Design to visit the construction site of  the newly building abode of the Chancellor of the Lovely Professional University . Situated in Jalandhar; the construction seems to be a splendid one with a spacious theme. Students could note down the site infos, measurements,ergonomics of the environment and opine on them. THE ROUGH SKETCH THAT STUDENTS DREW ON THE DAY- CONSTRUCTION After learning the whole area under construction. The group moved into another site. THE ERGONOMIC CONCLAVE..!!! The Department of Design conducted a session for students of the same department to let them fulfill with the ideas of ERGONOMICS ; to study on the efficiency of the work environment.  The workshop was held on 2nd September 2016 in the design block of LPU, Punjab. THE SESSION ON_GLOBALIZATION...!!! The lecture segment by the faculty member of the design dept; Mr. Raghuram, spoke on the event highlighting on the topic :GLOBALIZATION. The major setbacks in the economic reforms and breakthrough of globalization and integration of the world economy with the country's and related fragments of the topic.The session was in the slot of 9.00am  to 12.00pm. THE ERGO_CLASS The lecture on ERGONOMICS was lectured by faculty member Ms. Anuradha. The lecture mentioned about main components, elements and need of ergonomics and the importance of the topic which every designer should know. 12.00pm - 1.00pm was the slot for this lecture. EDU-TOUR...!!! An educational trip had been arranged for the second year students of Interiour designing on 6th September 2016. This tour to Chandigarh was one of the reason for the outstanding performances that design students showcase.
