Swaying to the rhythmic tunes;Deen Johns and Deen Shifas ,two different dancing souls of god's own country focuses their dance crew dreams taking it into such a height that their teams have grown onto even challenge any event management group out there for their professional and sharp approach to the dancing pace.This two different crews from distinct locations and contexts are representatives of the popping out dance crew culture in Kerala.



Crew :Dsouls;The Jovial Floors.......

Deen Johns; the brain behind the dance crew Dsouls goes chatty about his team.Being a Btech graduate his journey to meet his dance desires happening was a far fetched dream.And today when successfully achieving it ,he recalls the chapters of the crew."Dsouls was just a thought ,and it didnt start as a venture off a sudden..it fosters to maintain a bond with people through dance." he said.The team began with just three members under Deen's guidance .He thinks 'Why not bring Dsouls into a full fledged production team with a dance crew,its pre-production crew constituting choreographers and other personnels ,production crew indulging the sincere dance members and the post production crew to publicize the performances through videos moulded in thematical dancing styles.His thought resulted into the contributions that he make to the Ad film Company "Idea roots creative solutions."
"My crew dances and my friend who is a Neo Film school ,Kochi product capture our performances and disseminate it to the masses via our Dsouls channel on Youtube and facebook, fortunately... the response is just great", comments Deen.He also points that his team had faced hurdles alot, many doors has been shut for this young dance crew and so it was their hardcore desire to build a door together."I love this team for its experimental approach,each performance gives a refreshing mood,its thematical,professional,and stylish;I love the Dappankuthu style of Dsouls" says Anna Binny a student.

From 2013 with just around three members,till 2016 with around numerous members that differ according to events,the team is pretty much sure that they would add more feathers to their cap.The phases are making great upbeats shedding light on the wow- performances of the team.
"Dsouls; meaning Dancing with soul is imbibe by its true spirits as its name suggests.We have a special rapport with crew members and our main agenda is to swing along with the audience pulse".says Akhil Varghese  ,a Dsouls crew member.

The team fluctuates its dance styles according to the latest trends.Movie themes,trending styles ,martial arts,Dappankuthu,hip-hop,Lyrical style,Acrobats,Robotics are all so far experimented."What makes our crew standout from the rest is because we think we have a rich dance material in Mollywood.We dont copy foreign style as it is.Dsouls aims to make dance enthusiasts feel that they need not rush abroad for quality dancing tutorials",mentions Deen.

The practise slots are according to the events the team is assigned with.This crew is proving their mettle through wedding event organizing,stage shows ,live shows ,flashmobs and so on."The charges differ according to the event, ...well..Our charges range from 5000 per performance,and when we take up chain of programmes charges oscillate accordingly ."highlights Deen Johns with high spirits about his dance routine

."I check for Dsouls performances on FB and youtube regularly.I got to know more about the team through my friends.We are surprised and happy for this team as its making great positive leaps when their dance videos were shared by eminent personalities like actor Dulquer Salman,Sreenath Bhasi and also Shah Rahman."adds Alfred Vincent a student from Christ College. Whilst Deen Johns reply to this appreciation goes like this "Yes!!!! one clap and a single share of our videos add up the Crew's confidence, and when its gifted by such personalities of the Mollywood industry, its an energy booster. We forget our failures.We have stopped knocking doors, for we are all set with a door that is open for anybody who has a little tint to dance from within."

The team fosters to include girls too in the crew,the plan to start up dancing and choreography coachings are all set .The novelty about the crew is in its attitude to teach each other,learn from each other.And so ,many dance forms have been integrated into unique styles with this view."Our aim is to rise up as an event management team hosting events,and its already happening,we are organizing 'All Kerala workshops' on the same regard"adds Deen with great pomp and vigour.

Deen Shifas a BTech student from Jyothi Engineering College, Cheruthurithi thinks his course is just a narrow lane to reach his Dance destination.This realisation made him pursue a three months course in Media studies and grab his dream to open up an Event management crew."We are on the first step to reach our ambition, Magic Moments ;our crew is indulged in Web designing,Short Film production and other designing ventures ,we also made a major mark by setting up the official website of Malayalam movie Premam fame 'Anupama Parameshwaram" said Shifas on behalf of his crew. "We ruled many college fest and shows with our dancing styles" he added with a grin.

The dancing track of Magic moments differs from the rest of the crews for its rapidly attained popularity and skillful crew members. Abee Joe, Leo Paulson, Aswin Manohar of the crew are part of the music band "THEYYAM" ,they have also crowned the 'Thanima Irinjalakuda 2015' programme with their astounding performances. Another member of the crew Gentlesam Wilson is the owner of Bubble media which is the official media partner of the movie 'Ennum Ninte Moideen and few other Malayalam movies."Yes we have a star in our crew itself ;Akash Thomas ,our crew member has made his debut in the latest Malayalam movie 'Happy Wedding'."notes Deen Shifas,the head of the crew with chuckles.

"The setting up of a practise room in Vadakanjery made the Crew's routine on ease "says Alfin Lawrence ,Crew member.The team is majorly thankful to Mollywood Actor Tovino Thomas who promotes and supports their work.'Magic Moments' made an optimistic breakthrough when the team's Malayalam short film "The GodFriend" made waves on the social networking sites."We are a team of 15 out of which 8 are dancers ,the rest comprise the design set."adds Deen Shifas.The team gained attention through the design ventures."We practise according to events.Our dream is seeking a space in the event managment field..we dont have a media background..but we are setting up one to promote our dance events",commented Arnold Tom,Magic Moments Crew Member.

To reach the peak of victory in the dance stream ;the pillars they rely on to promote their work is their independent social networking channels.
Dsouls and Magic Moments have many shades in common .Both these groups forsee themselves to engulf the event organizing space with great zeal.Responses reveal that this change is happening.

The trauma of rape in the Netflix series shows disturbing ways the system works around rape survivors and addresses it as it should be.  Trauma is often exploited in the media, which, in layers, has enabled rape culture by using women characters as the subject of rape-revenge plots even in big-budget movies and TV series like Game of Thrones or as a backstory to build a strong woman character in iconic movies like Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill.
