Introduction / Background: We all know that to see the earth grow into a better place, we need to nurture it as if it is a child for we want to see it become better, for we as humans dwell in it and want our future generations to dwell in it as well. Our group comprising of three media students foster on the positive impacts that young environmentalists can bring in nurturing the environment .A video feature on “Young Environmentalists”.

Fieldwork Procedure / Methodology: As the title implies the project is completely an insight into green journalism, the documentation of the same in a video form ,the tools to back up our mission are: Cameras, microphones and other sufficient data collecting tools. The methodology chosen are interviews, word of mouth, capturing of the same, e-mail interviews, phonein interviews, topic research, field research etc.

Completed Works:  The project is moving in the expected pace till now. A mini research on environmentalists helped us know about some of the eminent personalities like Laurie Baker whose architectural works were throughly nature friendly , we also came across some of the agriculture students who were eager to give their face and view in the video feature,A proper record of all the gathered data is maintained, email interviews and phonein interviwes on the same till date has proved us that the topic we have chosen will be immensely enjoyed by viewers.

Outcome: The expected outcome out of the project is the awareness and knowledge that any person would seek on watching this video feature. As it sheds light on young environmentalists and their efforts in this sphere it would definitely be a study material for any nature lover. And our group is extremely delighted to have been given the privilge to capture this educative material so as to sharpen our green journalism skills and to prosper as environment journalists in the coming.

Future Plans: For future plans of this feature,  we carry out the rest of the project, as environmental journalists, bring to light what young people  who are dedicating their lives towards a better environment through ‘Agricultural studies’ are coming up with to aid agriculture as well as the environment at large. We want to show the world that there are still young people around the world who care about our environment and would like to see it nourish into what we will call a home for the present and future. We want to show that ideas are there around the world and begin in small groups which need a platform to let those ideas of bettering the environment come to life, we want to be that platform to help young people .

Conclusion:. Environmental journalism is not only sectioned to one sphere, but to the entire environment at large. The environment faces many issues which may make better living conditions extinct if we don’t care for it. We want to give awareness to ourselves as well as the people in what is needed to keep our environment alive. An example we have sectioned out is the Agricultural section of the environment. The basic amenities of our life are attained from the nature and it is our responsibility to nurture it, this video feature would definitely be a study material on this regard.
