The estimated number of new and relapse tuberculosis (TB) cases arising in a given year, expressed as the rate per 100 000 population – comes under the TB incidence data—

Tracking the incidence data will keep the TB elimination under check to monitor ,diagnose, treat and prevent further infection. Keeping a close check on country wise TB incidence rate would help the medical system to treat the illness thereby not permitting the possibility of a drug resistance – which can be difficult to treat .

India falls first in the list of the first 10 countries that are badly hit by the Measles Outbreak, according to the January 2023 report by CDC. This clearly shows the need for implementing preventive measures to deal the outbreak .

The recent reports of the measles outbreak and the lack of political attention about it shows a great deal of apathy towards people living with infections. The graph shows a CDC report on the prevalence of Measles and its spread in the districts.

There are variations in different regions in India on medical care provisions—the dependency on sectors other than public medical care will affect the global healthcare scenario. The chart shows health seeking pattern of the Indian population. It is interconnected to the healthcare expenditure because more facilities and funding for public healthcare will provide better services that will have a salutary effect on the entire chain of healthcare providers, will make private providers accountable for profit through medical injustices.

Healthcare financing in India goes through a series of budgeting process that involves budget allocation to expenditure, often the allocated funds might not be actually spent on healthcare.  There is a pattern of healthcare budget being used in other areas other than healthcare too, below is a pie chart on the expected allotted expenditure healthcare.
